Now, let’s summarise what you can not send via cargo. 

 

 

Prohibited items - Dangerous Goods - Can not send with cargo.

 

The following is a list of items you cannot send via cargo. Would you please look at the entire Prohibited Items (Dangerous Goods) inventory that cannot be shipped via general courier or freight to any destination worldwide? The transportation of Dangerous Goods (DG) requires additional arrangements and paperwork. Therefore, ensuring that the shipment did not contain Prohibited items (Dangerous Goods) would be helpful. If it discovers dangerous goods or prohibited items in the scanning, the cargo agent will charge you around £80 for scanning and £150 for handling charges.

Lithium Batteries

 

Lithium Batteries contain items (Laptop, mobile, iPod or any other devices, including Lithium Batteries) that are strictly prohibited. Therefore, you will face heavy penalties if you pack in your shipment, found during a security check and scanning at the airport.

 

 

Aerosols & Gases

 

Fireworks & Flares, Aerosols (Perfumes, Room Spray, Hair Spray, Deodorant, Air Freshener, Aftershave, Nail Polish, Nail Polish Remover, etc.), Compressed Gas Cylinders, Aqualungs, Matches, Fire Lighters, Bleach, Money, Items of Exceptional Value, Negotiable Items, Prepaid Cards, Jewellery& Watches, Works of Art, Antiques, Precious Stones, Peroxides, Explosives, Gases,

 

 

Flammable

 

Similarly, Flammable, Non- flammable, non-toxic, Toxic gases, Flammable liquids / Solids, Substances liable to spontaneous, Combustion; Substance which, in contact with water, Emit Flammable gases, Oxidizing Substances and Organic Peroxides, Toxic and Infectious Substances, Radioactive Material, Corrosives, Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances and Articles, Including Environmentally Hazardous Substances, Oxidizing Substances & Organic Peroxide, Ammunition, Firearms, Animal Products, Animal Skins (non-domesticated), Furs, Ivory & Live Animals, Perishable Goods, Plants & Seeds, foodstuffs.

 

 

Printer’s Ink and Toner Cartridges

 

Printers without Ink and toner cartridges are allowed via cargo. So if you want to send printers, remove any Ink or Toner cartridges from your printers. Any Fuel operated items, even these, are empty from fuel, including kid's Toys.

 

 

Fuels, Paint

 

Lighter/Heater Fuels, Paint, Thinners, Spirit Levels, and Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted in the USA & restricted to many other countries.

 

 

Tobacco Products

 

Tobacco & Tobacco Products, Pornographic Material, Toxic & Infectious Substances, Corrosives

 

 

Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods

 

Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods, Insecticides, Weed Killers, Wet Cell Batteries, Acids &Alkalise, Apparatus containing Mercury(thermometers), Lithium Batteries, Self Inflating life jackets, Dry Ice, Magnetized Materials XSBAG0002-REV1 AIRFREIGHT – HAZARDOUS GOODS NOT PERMIT TED AIRFREIGHT – RESTRICTED GOODS.

 

 

Customer Declaration

 

The customer now declares that their consignment contains no “Hazardous” or “Restricted” goods as described in this section. Where such not permitted or restricted items are found, Excess Baggage or freight forwarding Company reserves the right to remove them and dispose of them accordingly without reference to the customer. In such circumstances, the customer will not be liable for compensation, nor will the Excess Baggage or freight forwarding Company be obliged to return or deliver such items or give any notice that such things have been removed. * Restricted items cannot be transported as personal effects by road, air or sea to most countries.

 

Cargo agents request to check customers with their destination’s customs whether such goods are permitted. Charges are necessary for removing Non-Permitted or Restricted goods by an airline, handling agent, consolidator, etc. These charges will be passed on to you with an administration fee, and the shipment will delay until payment.

 

 

Fine

 

Any shipments containing undeclared dangerous goods will attract a fine of £100 to  £500, even more, to resolve and remove these items or more as decided by CAA if they are involved. Finally, Would you mind filling out the courier form to send a courier? You don’t need to worry if you are far from our office. You can send it to our office address.
